Have you always wanted to make your own website?

Do you think you need to be a computer wizard to make your own website? Well, I did it with limited computer knowledge. And you can too.

Where do I begin?

I know how to use a computer. But have never attempted nor have any idea how to create a website. I had a site built once and while the web designer tried to explain things to me, I either didn’t get it or didn’t want to.

I’ve wanted to have a website about public speaking for a long time. But I didn’t want to pay “big money,” and be at the mercy of a webmaster to make all changes.

Then I came across Site Build It.



I was doing some research on the internet for a project of mine when I found a website that intrigued me. It was easy to navigate, easy to read and looked very, very professional. On one of the pages the owner made mention of her hosting company. She noted that's how anyone can learn to make your own website.

Only it was more than a hosting company. They did so much more. Plus, she went on to say how her site was making money, lots of money, just from the website. And Site Build It helped her do that.

Being careful at what I put my money into; I proceeded to do a little research on the company. I checked out their website. Very impressive, but anyone can say they’re good in print. It’s another thing to actually deliver.

I researched Site Build It on the internet. I looked for all the feedback I could find. (Ok, I was really trying to find something negative about the company. You know someone that wasn’t happy with them.)

Well, I found… NONE. Yes, I couldn’t find one single complaint. I even checked out the company on the BBB, (Better Business Bureau,) and nothing.

You know what they say when something is too good to be true. It usually is… Well, not in this case. It appears that no one has anything negative to say about them.

So, I signed up. It took me awhile to get myself going. I tend to be a perfectionist and have to have things just right before continuing. What I liked about Site Build It was they, (the online help and videos,) kept telling me to keep moving forward. Don’t get stuck on the numbers or details.

Now there is work involved. This is not a get rich overnight scheme. If that is what you are looking for, you are looking in the wrong place. (And if you find the place, let me know. For everything takes some work.) But if you don’t mind reading, watching videos and making a few decisions to make your own website then you won’t mind this.

I wanted to make sure the base is solid so I spent a lot of time researching my site information, how to position it on the web, etc. “If you work on the roots the fruits will come.”

The best part was I didn’t have to learn any programming or web design. I have learned a lot now, but that is just from doing simple tasks to get my website up.

As I said, it does take work, but you can go at your own pace. I’m still a little bit away from living solely off my website. But sometime soon I hope. I have become somewhat of an expert though.

My wife heard me speaking to a friend on the phone the other day. She wanted to learn about making her own website. After getting off the phone my wife said, “Wow. I didn’t realize how much you know about building a website. It sounds like you really know what you are talking about.” “Me?” I asked. I didn’t think I was an expert. The bottom line is, Site Build It is amazing. Every question I have asked I have received an instant (or next day,) response. All the support, videos, reading materials that have been supplied are excellent and easy to follow. (And I like easy!)

There are forums where you can ask a question and get not one but 10-30 plus answers from other Site Build It owners.

It really is hard to explain how happy I am. I just wish I would have found them sooner.
